Welcome back to our Advent journey! This week, we delve into the remarkable story of Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Amidst the overwhelming task of carrying the Messiah, Mary could have easily felt unqualified or unworthy of God's extraordinary plan. Yet, her response to the angel Gabriel's revelation in Luke 1:38 echoes with unwavering faith and submission: "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word."

Mary's humility and obedience serve as a powerful reminder of our role as servants of the Lord. Let her inspiring words be our guiding principle as we approach every aspect of our lives.

Embrace your role as a servant of the Lord by asking, "Who can I serve today?"

Over the next few days, reflect on those around you – family members, friends, or even acquaintances – who could benefit from your acts of service. Similar to Mary's willingness, to step up and be a blessing to them.
