Made to Serve – Caleb Meyer & Cadman Nelson
For Caleb Meyer and Cadman Nelson, serving means transforming a school gym into a sacred space each Sunday. What started with helping run audio/visual and setup quickly became a weekly rhythm of service, fellowship, and growth. Together with a small team, they’ve seen how God turns simple behind-the-scenes tasks into opportunities for worship and deep connection.
From raising (sometimes upside-down) banners to sharing Bible study with Ryan and the setup crew, Caleb and Cadman have discovered that purpose isn’t always found in the spotlight—it’s built in early mornings, laughter, and quiet acts of service. Serving has taught them trust, teamwork, and how small actions can have a big kingdom impact.
Their encouragement to others: Just show up. You don’t have to know what to do—there are plenty of people to guide you. And with coffee, donuts, and community waiting, you’ll be surprised how quickly you feel connected.
