What to Expect at Each Location

Palm Sunday in the Park – (Outdoors)

  • A relaxed, family-friendly worship experience in the open air
  • Live music, prayer, and a special Palm Sunday message
  • Easter Egg Hunt for kids after the service
  • BBQ lunch & time to connect with others
  • Bring your own chairs or blankets for seating
  • Shade is limited—you’re welcome to bring pop-up shade or umbrellas
  • Water will be available, but bringing your own is encouraged
  • Parking is available at Cadence Community Center

Gilbert Campus (Indoor Services)

  • Uplifting Worship in a meaningful Holy Week kickoff

Holy Week Services

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, leading to:

  • Maundy Thursday (April 17) – The Lord’s Supper (12 PM, 5 PM, 7 PM at Gilbert Campus – Nursery available at 5 & 7 PM)

  • Good Friday (April 19) – Reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice  (12 PM, 5 PM, 7 PM at Gilbert Campus - Nursery available)

  • Easter Sunday (April 20) – Celebrate His resurrection! (Services at Gilbert & East Mesa campuses)

🔹 Palm Sunday in the Park is a special, combined contemporary worship service for both the Gilbert and East Mesa campuses. Instead of separate contemporary services at each location, we are coming together as one church family for worship, fellowship, and fun!

❌ No, there will not be a separate kids’ program at Palm Sunday in the Park.
❌ There is also no CG Kids at Gilbert Campus that day.
Do I need to bring my own chair or blanket?
✅ Yes, please bring your own seating for Palm Sunday in the Park.
Will there be shade at the event?
Shade is limited—pop-up shade and umbrellas are welcome.
What activities are available for kids at Palm Sunday at the Park?
During the service: Kids are welcome to participate in worship and enjoy the open space.
