Did You Know...

Did you know that the Hebrew word "Israel" means "struggles/wrestles with God"?
This name was given to Jacob after he wrestled with an angel and refused to let go until he received a blessing. It became not only the new name for Jacob, but also the name for God's people.

What a fascinating description of God's people!
We are people who wrestle with God. We may not always understand Him, and we may not always agree with Him, but we continue to seek Him and to wrestle with Him.
And that's okay.

Life with God is not always easy. It's not all rainbows and butterflies. But it is a journey, and it is a journey that we take with God.
So, where are you struggling with God today?

Where are you wrestling with Him?

We pray that you have eyes to see that God is with you, even in your wrestling. He is not afraid of your doubts or your questions. He is not afraid of your struggles.

In fact, He wants to be a part of them.

So, be like Jacob. Don't let go.

No matter what you are going through, cling to God and don't let go.
