What to Expect: Hymn Festival

A moving afternoon of music and gratitude honoring veterans.
Led by choirs, handbells, brass, organ, and piano
Congregational singing on many selections
Recognition of all veterans present
Livestreamed and recorded for those joining from home.

Annual Veterans Celebration Dinner

A special evening to honor veterans and their families with gratitude, community, and recognition.

Evening Program

  • Guest Speaker: Military Working Dog handler from Luke AFB
  • Missing Man Ceremony: Presented by Gilbert HS Air Force ROTC
  • Dinner: Catered by Vito’s — Chicken Alfredo, Penne Pasta with Meat Sauce, Meatballs in Marinara Sauce, Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, and Dessert
  • Gifts for Veterans: Military branch hats, gift cards, and a special gift for spouses/guests

Tickets & Sponsorships

  • Red, White & Blue Sponsor – $500 (10 tickets + honor a Veteran in the program)
  • Stars & Stripes Sponsor – $250 (5 tickets + honor a Veteran in the program)
  • Semper Fi Sponsor – $100 (2 tickets + honor a Veteran in the program)
  • Veteran / Spouse / Guest – $25 each

Hymn Festival FAQs

Is there a cost to attend?
No. Admission is free, and no reservations are required. A door offering will be received.
Can my kids come?
Absolutely! The Hymn Festival is for all ages—families, children, veterans, and friends are all welcome.
Will the audience get to sing?
Yes! Many of the hymns will be sung by the congregation along with the choirs, handbells, and instrumentalists.
Will the event be livestreamed?
Yes. The Hymn Festival will be livestreamed and recorded so you can join online if you can’t attend in person.
How will veterans be honored?
All veterans present will be recognized during the Festival.

Who is the dinner for?
The dinner is open to all veterans and their guests, including spouses, children, family members, and friends.
What is the ticket cost?
  • Veterans/Spouses/Guests – $25 per person
  • Sponsorships: Red, White & Blue ($500), Stars & Stripes ($250), Semper Fi ($100)
    Sponsorships include tickets plus recognition in the dinner program.
What is the dress code?
Casual or patriotic attire is welcome.
What’s on the menu?
Dinner will be catered by Vito’s, including Chicken Alfredo, Penne Pasta with Meat Sauce, Meatballs in Marinara Sauce, Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, and Dessert
What special elements are included?
The evening will feature a guest speaker from Luke AFB, a Missing Man Ceremony by Gilbert HS Air Force ROTC, and special gifts for veterans and their spouses/guests.

Please use the north parking lot at the Gilbert Campus.
