We’re Making Room

This isn’t simply about remodeling a room. It’s about creating a space that welcomes people well, honors the ways our community worships today, and prepares us to serve the East Valley for years to come.

A Space Built for Generations

Christ Greenfield was born out of community, mission, and a desire to reach and bless families in the East Valley.

The Worship Center we gather in today exists because generations before us prayed, sacrificed, built, and dreamed about creating a place where their neighbors could know Jesus.

Now we have an opportunity to do the same.

As our community continues to grow, we’re exploring how our existing Worship Center can better serve both our Traditional and Contemporary worship expressions, welcome new families, and create a flexible space for ministry and gatherings throughout the week.

What Could the Remodel Include?

As we move through the design process, the team is exploring:
Audio, Video & Lighting
Improvements to sound, video, stage lighting, and house lighting.
Platform & Stage
A redesigned platform that can serve both Traditional and Contemporary worship well.
Seating & Sightlines
Layouts designed around capacity, flexibility, and a better experience throughout the room.
Room Acoustics
Acoustic treatments to support different styles of music and worship.
Colors, Finishes & Materials
An updated environment that feels beautiful, welcoming, and functional.

The design process is still underway. Final plans and details will develop through listening sessions, architectural work, and cost planning over the coming months.

The design process begins with listening.

This fall, members of our church community will participate in a series of design workshops representing Traditional Worship, Contemporary Worship, Hospitality, and Education. Each conversation will help shape the next as we move from needs and dreams toward a final design.
