Rooted Sermon Series

Did You Know...

The Hebrew word for "covenant" is "berit," which means "to cut." In the Old Testament, covenants were made by cutting an animal in half and walking through the blood. This was a solemn act that showed the seriousness of the commitment.

We have broken our covenant with God, but Jesus took our place and died on the cross for our sins. Through Him, we have entered into a new covenant of forgiveness and grace.

Let us reflect on God's love and forgiveness, and allow His grace to transform our lives. Let us journey together in the warmth of His love and the joy of His forgiveness.
